Put up or shut up

I think it is time for people to start putting their "money where their mouth is". For environmental groups, left wing nut politicians, and even those in the media this will be no small feat. Here is my proposal for every dollar the oil and gas industry, auto industry etc... puts into reducing green house gases these groups put a matching dollar into a fund, call it the enviro-whacko fund. Then in 2050 when there is no change in our climate and Manhattan is still above sea level and Iceland still has ice this money, plus interest, goes to these so-called polluters. The only down fall I can see is the natural global climate cycle shifting to a cooling trend.
